Refund policy
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and unopened in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Once the return has been accepted:
- Domestic returns must be received by TAWAPA within 15 days of delivery to you.
- International returns must be received by TAWAPA within 30 days of delivery to you.
- We do not cover return shipping unless the piece you received was the incorrect item, or arrived damaged/defective.
- Returns requested after the 15-day (domestic) or 30-day (international) window are not guaranteed and will be accepted at TAWAPA’s discretion. If approved, these returns will be issued as store credit only, regardless of the original payment method.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception before opening the heat seal on the bag and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. For items that are sold in pairs, both pieces must still be sealed in order to be eligible for return or exchange. Once the seal is broken, the jewelry cannot be returned or exchanged.
What is considered damaged or defective jewelry?
Jewelry is considered damaged or defective if it is:
- Poorly sized (does not include items which were ordered in the wrong size)
- Cracked or warped
- Chipped or broken
- Mismatched in pairs (color or size)
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Once the seal is broken, only damaged or defective items are eligible for exchange (see above). Please note that warping or gems falling out from improper use of our 14k Continuous Rings is not considered damage or a defect, as these rings are intended to be worn permanently and not removed.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and make a separate purchase for the new item. We will refund the original purchase to your original form of payment (minus shipping) but only if it remains in its original sealed bag.
We do not cover return shipping (from you to us) or outgoing shipping (from us to you) for exchanges that are due to customer preferences, such as ordering the wrong size, color, or design.
We will cover return and outgoing shipping costs if we’ve made a mistake, such as sending an incorrect item, or if your jewelry is damaged or defective upon receipt.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
